transactQ ("we," "us") provides a real-estate transaction management application for licensed Transaction Coordinators. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

From Transaction Coordinators (account holders): name, email, hashed password (handled by Firebase Authentication), brokerage affiliation, and the transactions they create.

From transaction parties (agents, lenders, title officers added to a transaction): name, role, email address, and mobile phone number. This information is provided by the Transaction Coordinator who is your point of contact on the deal.

Automatically: standard application telemetry (device type, app version, error logs).

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

SMS-specific: Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes and are not sold. They are used exclusively for transactional reminders described in the SMS Program Terms.

5. Retention

We retain transaction data for as long as the Transaction Coordinator's account is active, plus a reasonable archival period required by real-estate record-keeping rules. SMS consent records are retained for at least four years per FCC TCPA recordkeeping guidance.

6. Security

Data is stored on Google Cloud (Firestore). Transport is TLS-encrypted. Secrets (API keys) are stored in Firebase Secret Manager.

7. Children

transactQ is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. Changes

We will update the "Last updated" date when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced in-app.
